Throwing a bone to the iPad lovers in town, the multinational tech giant Apple is reportedly planning to launch two new iPad devices in the spring of 2019. If reports are anything to go by, as per DigiTimes, the Cupertino-based tech giant is all set to launch iPad mini 5, the successor of iPad Mini 4, that was launched back in 2015 with a 7.9-inch Retina display, touch ID, and the second generation A8 Chipset.
The iPad mini-series has not seen a refresh since 2015, and thus the expectations from the new iPad devices would be higher in all aspects including design, performance, and affordability.
Meanwhile, as to what we know, the iPad Mini 5 won’t feature any significant design change – leaving many disappointed. However, we can expect a 100% all-aluminum body, slimmer body and bezels, improved Touch ID or even Face ID, and improved cameras. The other model might support Apple Pencil 2 and USB Type C.
As per DigiTimes, Apple plans to launch the new iPads sometime in early March 2019. As far as pricing is concerned, we don’t have much to reveal, but the reports suggest the price of the 10-inch iPad Mini 5 will be approx Rs 25,000 (16 GB variant).
With that said, the production of these iPads should begin anytime soon, and we expect a lot of sneak peeks and leaks in the future.
We will keep you updated.
