The company is now planning to bring a phone in the folding market. Just a few days back, Samsung announced the launch of a foldable smartphone. Now Xiaomi is working on such a phone and will be presenting it in the market soon.
Xiaomi’s Vice President shared a video of a prototype double folding smartphone. In this video, President Bin Lin is seen using a double-fold phone. Wang Jiang, senior vice president of the company, posted on Twitter, saying, “I am very excited to share the video of this special smartphone from Xiaomi on behalf of our Presidency and Co-Founder Bin Lin. It is the world’s first double-folding smartphone. This is cool, isn’t it? Bin Lin, who is using the phone in the video, has a size similar to that of a tablet.
There is no information about what the phone’s specification will be. It is expected that Xiaomi’s double-foldable smartphone can have 8 GB RAM and Snapdragon 855 processor. It can be shown on February 24 at the Tech Expo of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. Samsung has also announced that it will launch the Foldable Smartphone in February. The launch of a foldable smartphone together with both companies can make a big difference in the smartphone market.
