Microsoft Modern Keyboard
Microsoft on Thursday silently unveiled a new keyboard, called the With ‘Hidden’ Fingerprint Scanner Microsoft Modern Keyboard. Priced at Rs. $129.99 (roughly Rs. 8,500), the new Modern Keyboard is listed as “coming soon” on the company’s US website with no word when the accessory will go on sale. The highlight of the keyboard is that it comes with a fingerprint scanner that simply seems like the other key on the keyboard.
The Modern Keyboard features a low profile with an aluminium frame that Microsoft says is “virtually indestructible,” whereas still remaining sleek. It can also be used wirelessly through Bluetooth 4.0 or with a wired connection, includes a rechargeable battery that can last up to two months on one charge, and weighs about 14.79 ounces.

The mouse has a rounded design and is silver in colour and features discrete function buttons, as well as a metal scroll wheel.
The mouse is powered by 2 AAA batteries and also connects via Bluetooth.

It comes with dimensions 420.9×112.6×19.3mm and weighs roughly 420 grams. The wireless Microsoft Modern Keyboard runs on two AAA alkaline rechargeable batteries. Microsoft claims a battery life of up to 2 months on full charge. The Redmond giant will be offering 1-year limited warranty on the keyboard.
